The 2020 VELOSTER has arrived at Brossard Hyundai

Hyundai's small sport coupe Veloster is back in force for the 2020 model year. It is available now at Brossard Hyundai.

The new Veloster retains some elements that have proven successful in the past, including a single door on the driver's side and two-door configuration on the right, a tailgate so practical at the back and a sporty look. But its platform is completely redesigned, from subcompact to compact. It is also the same platform that is found under the Elantra GT. The Veloster therefore benefits from Hyundai's high-strength steel SuperstuctureTM and a more modern look. You can choose your Veloster 2020 among several versions. Your choices will be influenced by the engine that attracts you the most: The 2.0l (manual or automatic) or the 1.6l Turbo (manual or automatic). Also available to you are the Performance and Tech group.

But the big news for the model is undoubtedly the introduction last year of the Hyundai N performance division with the arrival of the 275-horsepower Veloster N. Here it is in letters for those who believe in an error in numbers: Two hundred and seventy-five horses. Tie your hat. the Veloster N will be distinguished from other versions by a more pronounced grille, a fin that can not be missed, 18-inch wheels and oversized brakes. The interior cockpit and bodywork are dotted with red elements that will give it a unique look.

1 Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) is designed to detect vehicles that are directly in front of the vehicle. AEB will not detect all vehicles and objects. AEB may not work on winding or hilly roads, during certain weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog and any other times of limited visibility. AEB initiates full braking at speeds between 8 and 75 km/h (vehicle detection) or 8 to 64 km/h (pedestrian detection). AEB will not detect all pedestrians under certain conditions. See Owner's Manual for detailed descriptions of example conditions in which AEB may not detect a pedestrian. AEB is not a substitute for safe driving. Always check your surroundings when driving. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

2 Driver Attention Alert (DAA) is only a notification system and will not influence the direction or speed of the vehicle. DAA will not prevent accidents. DAA does not replace attentive and safe driving. Always ensure that you pay careful attention while driving. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

3 The Lane Departure Warning System operates when vehicle speed exceeds 60 km/h and only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road and detected by the system. It will not prevent loss of control. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

4 Never rely completely on Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and be sure to use proper lane changing procedures. BSD will not detect every object or vehicle and will not prevent accidents. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm clearance. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

5 Never rely exclusively on the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm rear clearance. There are limitations to the function, detection, range and clarity of the system. The system may not detect every vehicle. This system does not detect stationary objects. Vehicle must be in reverse and has to be travelling at 10 km/h or less. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
